Strategic, Program, and Project Management
A project is temporary in that it has a defined beginning and end in time, and therefore defined scope and resources. A project is unique in that it is not a routine operation, but a specific set of operations designed to accomplish a specific goal.
Program management is a group of related projects managed in a coordinated manner to obtain benefits not available from managing them individually. A program may have multiple projects occurring to solve the overall goal of the business.
Strategic management provides overall direction to the company and involves specifying objectives, developing policies. and planning designs to achieve these objectives, and then allocating resources to implement the plans.
